Salary: $29.47 hourly / 37.5 to 40 hours per week

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Work setting:

– Rural area
– Health care institution, facility or clinic

Responsibilities/Tasks:
– Empty trash cans and other waste containers
– Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
– Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
– Perform minor repairs on appliances
– Perform safety and security checks
– Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
– Work with minimal supervision

Equipment:
– Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers
– Carpet cleaning machine
– Power tools
– Security system
