Home Support Worker
Location: Brantford, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Day, evening, and weekend shifts available.

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to provide personalized care for an  individual with disabilities int the home. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring clients’ comfort, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
Assist client with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Aid with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
Accompany client to medical appointments and social outings.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education.
Certification in Personal Support Worker (PSW), Health Care Aide (HCA), or equivalent is preferred.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
Experience in caregiving or related fields is an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation is preferred.
